Tradeex used to bring them in, but they are scaling back their operation. Perhaps someone like Prophet River will pick up the brand. I had an M-85 .223 years ago- great little rifle.

I had talked to Clay at Prophet River about bringing in some Zastava's a few years ago.....he said that it wasn't likely and he had no real interest in doing so.....but who knows...the times they are a changing.

Ive seen new stock zastavas appear on epps site. Not sure if theyre a dealer or if they bought stock from tradeex

I had one of those in 7.62x39 as a kid. The best gun I have ever owned. I went through anywhere between 5-10k shots and never had a single failure. I used mostly corrosive ammo because it was cheaper than .22 back in '90.
To be honest I wasn't even that regular on cleaning. I would quickly clean the bore every time I used it but that was about it...

Let me know if you find them anywhere in Canada. I would love to own it again.

Just got the rifle! The stock isn't perfect, but I knew it was synthetic: Won't feel too bad if I decide to do a camo paint job on it. Feels great, slim and fairly light (will probably kick a bit more since it's a 300 WM). Butt pad is midway between a hockey puck and a nice decelerator pad. Will be trying it out this week-end.

Mounted a Nikon Prostaff5 4-16x42mm on it.
