Does anyone have a Zastava 5 (I think) bolt action 22 LR? If so what do you think of it? Is it accurate? Are spare mags available?

Please don't recommend another model of 22 as I have many others. I am interested in knowing about this one.

I am tempted to pick one up just to try out. Is the trigger easily adjustable? Looking for any information.

Thanks.

The Z-5 is a wonderful rifle. IMHO it has the highest value on the market today. All deep blued steel and walnut. The only plastic part is butt plate. Nice, adjustable trigger, very good open sights and can be as accurate is my CZ. The quality of the steel work is incredible for the price. Sure love mine a lot.:):):)

I have the Rem model 5 version with the laminate stock. Mine is a 22 magnum and I bought an extra mag for mine at P&D. Beauty bluing from these folks and very nice accuracy once you figure out the ammo it loves. FS

I've got a Remington model 5 in .22LR. Great gun, and very accurate. The clip mechanism is a little chinsy, but works fine.
I would also like to know where to buy additional clips.
P&D have/had only .22 mag.

I have a Z5 in 22 and 22 mag. Both are incredibly accurate. They are a great value for all steel construction and adjustable trigger with decent steel sights. Mags are hard to find but I was told they are to be brought in with the next shipment of rifles.Gagnon Sports in Oshawa(Ont) was keeping a few in stock up til recently.I would recommend these any day.

I bought one of these in 22WMR from a fellow gunnut.
It arrived today, and is a fine looking rifle...nice and solid.
If it shoots anywhere near as well as it looks, it will be a winner.
I hung a 6-18 AO scope on it to try it out.

Eagle let us know how your mag shoots. Enguiring minds want to know.

So far, a bit disappointing. :(
It shows a definite ammo preference for the Winchester silver box 40 grain JHP, but even that is not staying under ½" at 50 meters.
I will fiddle a bit with bedding, etc, and see if it improves.

My buddy's and my 22 mag prefer the Hornady 30 gn Vmax .Neither one like the Winchester ammo at all but I think it was a white box the ammo was in that we tested.
