Zastava 9.3x62 is 4+1 or 5+1?

My Husqvarna branded rifle - so an FN commercial large ring mauser, I believe - will only hold 4 x 9.3x62 in the magazine - by a millimetre or two - so this one must need a shim or two to raise the action or lower the magazine? Something to fuss with, I guess. I never felt to be lacking anything by placing 4 in magazine, then closing the bolt. Is the same, then, as my Win Model 70 in 338 Win Mag - one in chamber and 3 in magazine. If I really want to, by depressing the large extractor behind the collar, I can "help" the thing get over the rim in a chambered cartridge - if I REALLY wanted 4 in the magazine. But I do not think it easily handles single round feeding - the extractor nose is not adequately bevelled - is more reliable to snap one into the empty magazine, then close the bolt - always works that way, with minimal fussing.

It's surprising that they would screw up the detailed spec sheet like that...

Is perhaps a thing where a few millimetres are important - your Post #1 said that you were finding catalogue reference to 30-06 - has been shown above there are millimeter difference per cartridge between 9.3x62 and 30-06 - although some have made usable cartridges from 30-06 for decades. Does not make them the same cartridge body size.

I just took a look at my Zasatava M70, NAACO 90D, and a WW2 era dot BRNO. There doesn't look to be much difference at the face of the extractor. I'll just keep chambering from the magazine.

I remember trying to squeeze the back end of the extractor on my ugly old "sporter" Czech refurb, trying to chamber a round off the follower - no workee.
