Zastava M57 replacement parts

So I encountered an issue with my m57 on my last range outing, the slide stop retaining clip has worn to the point where it comes off under recoil. When this happens the slide stop wiggles out after a couple rounds and I actually had the slide fall off my pistol. Hilarious I know, my question is can I replace this retaining clip with some other sort of clip? Gun is practically new and only has about 400 rounds through it.

Seriously though. Its simple to fix. With your signature it looks like you are handy with tools so. Remove the clip and lay it flat on hardened surface like metal plate. Get a punch or hard kerner, and punch the lips of the clip that hug the slide stop. This will prevent clip from sliding off.

They look amazingly similar to a roller chain repair/joiner link clip. Go somewhere that sells roller chain and compare; you may find one that fits for just a couple bucks:

I went with the next best thing, slide doesn’t lock rearward anymore but it functions and won’t fall apart while shooting.
