Zastava M70 Action Lengths

Trying to find out if these came in long and short actions. I have a deal pending on one off a .375 H&H, buyer is looking to slap it on a 6.5x55. Have found nothing conclusive that helps determine if it'll be a fit.

Other than .375 and .458, Zastava gives identical dimensions and weights for all calibers from .243 to 7 mm Remington. The big calibers may just be because of beefier bolts and/or barrels.

Appreciate any help.
 
Well first off he will need a different bolt as the claw extractor will likely be to short and the bolt face will be opened up to far. Then the rails will have to be addressed as they have been opened up to far to hold the 6.5x55 cases in the mag well.

The actions are likely the same length but that is about the only similarity.

Not a feasible conversion IMHO.
 
Guess I shouldn't have been so rushed to ask this and review before I post.

I have a stock he's interested in, not a receiver. Trying to determine if his action will slip into stock.

D'oh! Will slap myself upside the head.
