ive had 2 zastavas. both .22lr. (second one was free replacement of first one after several attempts to repair under warranty. replacement had exact same issue. vendor let me swap for a marlin. i told myself im never buyin another zastava bolt again.

but ive always wanted a 7.62X39 bolt.

now i see a good deal on one.

but its ZASTAVA!

dilemna....

any thoughts?
 
It's almost like a couple of the major sponsors have the Zastava's on for good prices or something, the number of threads about the M85 that have cropped up in the past couple weeks.

Love mine. Good gun. Reliable. Accurate.

Spent some quality time adjusting the trigger to make it juuuuuusssst right. I bought the "Stutzen" (Manlicher) style carbine. About 3&1/2 lbs light than an SKS, more accurate, shoots a calibre suitable for White Tails (if you use a good soft point or hollowpoint), cheap enough ammo and accurate enough to pick off gophers out to 100 yards or more.

I need to make a range video of this thing in action, it's a great little shooter.
