IMHO the price to value ratio is definitely in favor of the Zastava M22/Z5.

I’ve had a Remington model 5 for years. It’s the same as the Zastava Z5. Is that the same as the m22?
I’ve had extraction issues as well. I’ve found that Remington ammo will shoot all day. No issues. I can hit gophers well past 150 yards with that ammo. But federal or Winchester will get stuck in less that 10 shots.

It may be the chamber. Mine is not extracting any unfired shells with a througly clean chamber/bolt/action/barrel. Tried probably 15 kinds of different ammo. It does however extract each fired shell without problems. I've been offered to send it back but because it's so accurate I don't want anybody else to "screw" with it without me knowning what has been done to it.

These are great rifles , I've just brought a companion zasatava in 22wmr for my Remington model 5 in 22lr and I must have lucked out as no issues as of yet in either . Mini mags work best in the Remington 5 , and the Hornady 22wmr seem a good fit in the zastava 22mag rifle . I believe that they are the secret gems of the rimfiire world .
First day out & I got this which shocked me considering it's BULK pack ammo! Can't wait to get out next time & print more groups.
