Zastava Question

Howdy Folks,

Can someone with a zastava model 70 bolt action do me a favour? I need to know if a QD ring setup will work. Do your weaver bases (or leupold QD bases) block your view of the rear sight? Also, if anyone has already setup a QD scope on a zastava please let me know what components worked to give an unobstructed view of the iron sights.

I had Weaver aluminum bases and they didn't block my irons.

i use the weaver steel version ones and leupold qrw rings with no obstruction of the open sights.
