Bedding and steel square stock. Adds a little weight to the fore end. Can you post a pic of the fore end? I should still have pics of how I do it.The butt I would fill with expanding foam from a taxidermist. Stronger then spray can stuff.
One way to stiffen the fore end is to epoxy in a couple of hollow fiberglass sections from a busted fishing rod. Adds only a little weight and really stiffens the stock. Info can be found through google.
I will post a pic tomorrow when I get back to the rifle
Neilm: I was hoping the Charles daly would fit. Boyds wouldn't give me a definite answer if this stock will work or not. I might just give it a gamble though. Would be great to get a pepper laminate for this rifle
Zastava made the rifles for Charles Daly up until about the time they started producing the 798 for Remington. That is probably why they don't list the Zastava M70 because its already produced under a different name.
Update:
Reading the fine print on Boyds website. The Charles Daly won't fit, the floor plate cut out sizes are different and c-c of the action screws are different.
Back to the drawing board I guess.
