If anyone is looking to replace the hard butt pad on their Zastava synthetic stock, Limbsaver #10101 is a perfect fit it is listed for numerous Remingtons. I also filled the butt with expanding foam to get rid of the hollow feel.

The one on the wood stocks is about the same density as a hockey puck. I don't find the synthetic stock ones too bad.

The one on my synthetic was hockey puck hard, maybe some are different?

My only synthetic is one of the discontinued stainless ones in 7x64 so it's a bit older, my wood is 7x57 with the glossy monte carlo style stock. They may have changed them up at some point no doubt, but the wood one may as well have a wood butt pad it's got that much give to it lol. The stainless is not limb saver or decelerator quality either, but does have some squish.
I may try one of my Rem 700 pads on it for fun now, see how well it fits.

I saw a Stainless 7x64 on the EE, I have never owned a 7x64 it was tempting looks like a great calibre, mine is a stainless 9.3x62.

How do you get the butt pad off? There's no screws visible

Boy he wasn't kidding. It's an almost perfect fit. I'd say 95/100. You can't ask for better then this with a non-specified model and a recoil pad.
