Zastava Z5 damaged and fixed! Nice 22 Mag.

I thought I would share this. I recently purchased a new Zastava Z5 in 22 Mag, and it arrived with a broken stock The dealer was awesome in their response time and service, so I had the option of exchanging it. However, I decided to try and fix it and with the help of Midway USA and Youtube, voila!

These are awesome rifles for the money. The bluing and metal work is very nice.

So your "fix" was to change the stock???

No, I glued it with Gorilla Glue, sanded it down including the butt plate to get rid of the chip, stripped the original finish, and stained it with Minwax Ebony and then clearcoated it.

Geez, I hear broken stock and think it sheared in half at the wrist. Nice fix though, it looks darn good.
