Zastava Z98 Impressions?

Got a left hand one in 9.3x62 and shot it today took it to the range to-day with some of that Privi Partizan ammo. Bore sigted it and zeroed it at 50 yards and fired a 3 shot group at 100. Right on 1" with2 shots touching and one slightly below. I only had a front bag but was very pleased .Wood is not that great but a far sight better than tupperware.

Does anyone know where to get a Zatava M70? NOT the AK...although I wish, the bolt action rifle is what I am after, it is basically a 98 but also has irons.

I used a .458 Win Mag version in Africa this past fall, the synthetic stock is garbage, among the worst I've seen. The gun as a whole was crude, and functional. I and the owner weren't impressed, but for a bang about truck gun it beats a Remington.

x2...the wood although its not HIGH end and you get what you pay for is 100x better then their synthetic ones. The guns I find take a bit to break in but once they are...they run pretty smooth.

I have had one for a couple of years. The synthetic is stiff enough. This one is in 270 Win and true story it is a sub moa rifle. It holds its point of aim even when shooting long strings but after about 7 shots shot fairly quickly the groups open up a little. Of no consequence on a hunting rifle.

Here is mine with a pig I got last weekend...

The blueing is outstanding and the slightly rough action has smoothed up really well.

I would buy another for sure.
