Too bad the bolt is modified except that the scope can be lower. That is the ultimate first gun for my kid! Simplicity with the single trigger as well.
Looks like it may have seen some good service. Hard to tell by the pics to give a real good value.
Edit: Also, some of the early ZG47's came out with a lightweight stock (same as the 21H) withthe exception for the bolt being round and inletted into the stock for scope clearance.
What makes you so sure it is welded and not a different model?

Noel said:While it does look incorrect it could be simply a bad pic. They did come with a round bolt handle that could have been bubba'd and the mix it with years of neglect with gun oil that stains and "varnishes" on the steel and it looks like a worse situation than it really is.
Without holding it one could say someone took a file to the handle and
violated that sweet little rig.![]()

J Stuart said:Noel, the round handle Brno's that we are aware of were all late production Model 21's and the round bolt handle is exactly the same as on the ZG 47, which suggests that the factory used new model bolt handles, however I cannot for the world of me remember if the bolts had oblong gas ports (as in Model 21) or round gas ports (as in ZG 47), regardless, the dove-tailed round bolt handled Model 21 is much sought after, I personally would sell (someone I do not know)'s soul for one.
