Zeiss conquest 4.5-14x44 discontinued

Noticed the 4.5-14x44 was gone from Zeiss website, and got word from from them that its discontinued. The 50mm version is still available. Just a heads up for anyone that cares.

The new Conquest HD5 has replaced several of the old Conquest models. The 3-15x42 replaced the 4.5-14x44. For basically the same price it's definitely an improvement.

One advantage of the older scope was side parallax adjustment down to 25 yards, that is significant to rimfire and airgun shooters. The new HD5 models minimum focus is 50 yards.

The conquest models work well on air rifles and 22's.

Cabela's still shows them on their website and on sale I believe but z-plex reticle is only one still available.
