Well I waited till the end of huting season here in B.C. end of November for me .. Gave Gentec a call they told me to ship it to them ..in the original box if i had it with the warinty card filled out ..if i had it ...so i did ,,They ship it to the states when they have enough to ship on there end ,,,Zeiss detemins wheter or not its a warenty job on there end and bills Gentec ...
I got my scope back from Gentec the other day still wraped from Ziess
opened the box and the scope came bak with a letter and new scope cover ....
Ziess said that i should use the scope covers because they are haveing isues with
"soft glass"( their words) and did not charge me for this repair ..this time even though scratching the objective lense was my fault .
turn around time was just under 6 weeks and did not cost exept for the shipping
not bad even if it was my fault ....................
