Went shooting in Vermont today.
I took along with me my Springfield Armory 1911 in .45ACP.
While shooting at some steel targets near to the ground I missed one shot which hit the dirt so I decided to dig it out to see what it looked like.
100% weight retention.

CRAFM always has stock although you won't like the current price of the 230gr JHP. $198/1,000+tx.
I think I paid $145 tax in during the Boxing week sale 2014.
