I'm looking for recommendation on lightweight mountain hunting stock for my ZG47 rifle. This rifle is in 30-06 and shoots sub-MOA groups with 178 gr. E-DLX and 168 gr. LRNA, but that currently has nice walnut stock with oak leave carvings I don't want to destroy if taken to the mountains.
I'm playing with the idea to use it on my backpack hunt in the mountains if I can find suitable lightweight and durable stock that is not overly expensive.
From what I found on the internet there are Wildcat stocks made in Alberta-lightweight, durable and around $400, but I never handled one yet. Anybody knows if they have them at Corlanes? They could possibly handle installation and any additional modifications if need it.
Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Wildcat stocks has a fantastic lightweight m98 pattern. It's a slim, traditional English style design. Speak to G E FLACH on this site as he has installed this stock on ZG47s before.

EDIT I just looked on their site and the pattern is the 98 classic
