I put the Magpul ak grip on it and moe stock. I think I will run it like this I also have a fde angled fore grip to put on just have to order the mlok adapter.

I'm going to get the zhukov stock still but I think it will be for my sks project also on the go.

CTCS my order just arrived, the 870 stock obviously was a perfect drop in fit and I'm hard at work fitting the Zhukov handguard.

mattcwc thanks for doing the leg work and putting together such clear photos and directions. I first tried to find my own variation on installing this handguard but that would have involved modifying the gun, your way is MUCH better.

I think I've got one small addition to the way you did yours. I'm going to try it out and I'll report back.

Thank you mattcwc for being the first one here to try this out.

The only thing I may add to you technique is possible drilling and threading a few holes in the handguard near the receiver to allow the use of some set screws to further connect the handguard to the rifle and to make it easier each time I take the assembly apart to put it back together in exactly the same spot.

Maybe that'll be my winter project trying to adapt that stock to fit the VZ58.

I haven't done the set screws yet, once I do I'll update with more details.

To mount my AK grip I modified my rifle, others here have modified the grip itself. If I could do it again I'd modify the part not the rifle.

Check out the work Taymere did in this thread, I think that's the best way to fit the AK grip.
