I was looking at maybe getting a nightforce for my 308 when I spotted the ziess conquest 6.4-20. Is this scope comparable to the nightforce? It seems to be priced decent at around $1300 from cabelas compared to the $1800+ for a nightforce.
 
Zeiss make very good product, if you are varminting you can't beat the rapid Z reticles, however, if you are wanting a more target/precision oriented scope then NF may be the way to go, more adjustment and available reticles too.
 
I have several Conquests in the 4.5-14, and 6.5-20 range, and I find that they track quite precisely, and hold zero.If you shop around, you can purchase a 6.5-20 for $1000 to $1100.
 
Zeiss quality glass are quit on par with other high end like Leupold mark4 or NF. For what they asking for in, is one of those nest bang for the buck, very underrated scope, I got 2 zeiss conquest, and a Handsolf. These scope kick ass.
