I remember when you posted the pics of that bolt handle mod. I am not a fan of the huge knurling. How do you like it? Would you do that again?

I wasn't a fan of the original bolt handle. I use the palm method to open the bolt and the bottom of the original ball I found sharp. Also living in Canada and hunting in the winter, hunting with gloves I found the original bolt was a little small for my "meat hooks"...... so I got it modified for "Canadian Winters".
It works great and I have no problems with working the bolt quickly or with gloves.

Would I do it again?

Yep, if I had to use a similar type of CZ bolt. I don't think they lend themselves to winter use and big hands. Have you seen the stocks on the CZ 858's????? I think all czech's have short arms and small hands
