zombie ammo fail

maybe you should edit your thread title to something else, not a great start to being a new CGN member....

I bought a box of 20rnds 9mm just for the box. Thought it was funny!

So if ammo companies are taking the zombie threat seriously and making ammo for that purpose. That would mean ZOMBIES ARE REAL!!!!!!

And to add, you know the range "brass whores" will be the first to go. Like a hockey game and keeping your head down, you are bound to be eating boards sooner or later!

I dunno, during a real zombie invasion I would think most of the stores would be closed so factory ammo will be in short supply, reloading will be manditory. I would say that the 7.62 zombie ammo failed. Now, as to weather or not its fail for not checking, well thats alreayd been discussed.

So much roasting.

Honestly Idd be a bit pissed too for paying a buck a shot and it ends up being steel cased. I paid less for 223 in the same stuff in brass. 762 is usually cheaper that 223 too.

i knew this before it was ever released..... but fear not wholesale sports will be getting some real brass for the 7.62x39 very soon from what i hear.

Newb got schooled. I looked at the description and its pretty slim. For as good an outfit as SFRC is, theres not a lot of detail there. Even the pic looks like brass to me, but I have no experience with steel cases.

Not to hijack - but this zombie stuff is steel, yes, which does suck for the cost of the rounds - but it certainly is the most accurate ammo I've fired out of my sks.

With surplus and a red dot sight at 50 yards, I consistently get 4-5 inch groups (real groups, not internet claims of 2moa with surplus).

With the zombie ammo, it shrinks to 2-3 inch groups with some rounds touching.

It's clearly more accurate! I love it, but I'll be sticking to my surplus as I just like to shoot paper targets with mine.
