That's what the flames are for...
That's is handy. You don't have to bring barbecue.
That's what the flames are for...
Will that be the one on July 9th? Do we need to be holster qualified?

I absolutely love that term.......

They come at night.............mostly.
So do I as it makes it really easy to determine who can shoot and who cannot.
I am glad to see others agree with me on the subject
....people go to civilian firing ranges to feel safe, and the concensus opinion as to how to best accomplish this seems to be a required layering of (at times several) additional certifications/course-completions above and beyond the PAL and RPAL courses all handgun owners are already required to take...
I fully understand from where both you and they are coming from.......people go to civilian firing ranges to feel safe, and the concensus opinion as to how to best accomplish this seems to be a required layering of (at times several) additional certifications/course-completions above and beyond the PAL and RPAL courses all handgun owners are already required to take...
At the same time, I can also (and similarly?) deeply empathize with the notion that once the requirement of additonal certification(s) seems to be in vogue, it is immensely difficult for any essentially NPO-entity to even propose a move to the other direction....![]()
I know and understand where you are coming from Cyclone......
But....and I hate....really hate saying "BUT", where does one draw the line.
We could say, this is open to anyone........what type of people do you think we would draw, if we said anyone can come out and participate in the shooting of random targets, at your own will....I would be happy to make such a statement if I in turn could shoot dead, said idiot participant who decided to sweep me with his muzzle!
There has to be some form of regulation, of who shoots, and who doesn't.
, and humbly suggest that the question of "where does one draw the line" might apply to either side of the question....And I will indeed - politely and sincerely - return the (pr)offered understanding, "appreciate" that as restricteds can only be fired at approved-membership entities all visitors and "joiners" must effectively abide by the rules specified if they wish to participate

And I don't for one moment think that the liability issue is one to be taken lightly...![]()
If only for you being one of the most interesting characters on CGN....I....For this ONE TIME ONLY.......will accept Cyclone as a shooting competitor at the EESA Zombie Apocalypse ....following all safety procedures.....and giving me....7.62mm...the authority to shoot....CYCLONE DEAD if he violates any of the safety precautions.......7.62mm is completely, and wholly indemnified in shooting CYCLONE for breaking any of 7.62mm rules....which haven't been and never will be totally disclosed!

I see your wager and raise you a rubber chicken....![]()
I'd love to participate in this or at the very least help volunteer for it!
Lol...lights are for sissies, I have a dot...hehehe

what he said i tottaly agree ,dont agree with the comment about shooting the idiot dead for sweeping you with the muzzle but a good swift kick in the nuts is in order to wake him up. it sucks at my club its all the old school guys trap and skeet and bullseye and we got an awsome range indoor hand gun and everything but iam not even allowed to shoot at silloutte targets and god forbid i want to strap on my blackhawk holster
So the IDPA one is fine? How does one show this? Bring your "diploma" from your instructor?
