I believe if you want use a mounted light it will have to stay on the gun for the entire match, that would also mean you would need a holster to accept it with the light on...

Yes we can use 10 round LAR mags loaded to 10.

Low light portion is pistol only. I believe it can be mounted or handheld.

Thanks guys. Can anyone running the match confirm?

Hmmm...I have thought about this low light stage quite a bit. If you have a light that attaches to your pistol, by all means use it. It does not have to be mounted for the entire match, as the firearm won't be holstered at all for the low light stage. There will be a flashlight provided if someone does not have one, but I can't give any promises to it's effectiveness or brightness!

And yeah........Lar Mags are also OK.......resisting......the.......urge.......to.......flame.....LOL!!!!!!!!

:shotgun: Awesome. This match sounds like it's going to be extremely fun! :sniper:

I am on a squad with a fellow shooter! Sighting in my tack driver at 300m this weekend!

Bought a $20 jogging stroller that I am converting to a gun cart.

Shooting IDPA this Thursday with a gun that I have a light attached to and a light holster for.

Zombies are in serious trouble on the 16th!

:D

Hope I don't regret using the 10 round LARs. I do have them coupled so I can do quick mag changes but at the Borden CQB you can't load them to 10 rounds so I don't use them as the PMags and Tapcos are much better. Maybe I should stick to what I am used to? It's just so much more fun to shoot 10 rounds before a mag change!!!! Decisions...decisions!

Any chance we can eventually have the stages described in detail so that others can use or follow the example elsewhere?

Is there still room for 3 more shooters? Does everyone start at 9am? How many people do we have signed up? We'll be coming from GTA.

Sent EMT to stormbringer.

I sent an emt to stormbringer earlier this week, but have yet to hear back. Is registration closed? Would be a real shame being I've pulled so many strings to get the day off.
Anyone got any info.

I see 9 slots left. There are a couple people that were shooting the three gun match that I was shooting today, that may be coming as well, I will know in a day or two....so things are filling up nicely!

Trophy's are made, shirts are ordered.......things are working out nicely!

Yes...everyone starts at nine! I think we will have a shooters meeting at 8:30 AM, and shooting started at 9 AM sharp. Will see if Storm can do a blanket email via the online signup, so everyone gets notice!

open or not??????? if don't go open then I have to use an 11.5 inch AR with no redi-mag.
Thinking this will be my single stack 40's first match.

Can you give us a max round break down for stages? So we know how many/type of holders we need on our rigs?

Yep....Open or Standard....Any optic on any firearm puts you in Open!

I can come up with a minimum round count break down per stage I guess, give me a day or 2, helping with Black badge course tomorrow, and info is on the other computer at the moment!
