Can I use a garand for the rifle (non sniper) parts?

Good idea to have at least 4 mags for any kind of action pistol shooting. Personally I'd recommend 6.

Garand is fine if you are qualified to shoot. Do you have a holster certification, or Black Badge course?

So....the biggest stage, you will need to have minimum

30 carbine rounds, 1 mag staged in carbine, 2 Lar mags with you; CZ/VZ users, Swiss arms users, etc....sucks to be you!

24 Pistol rounds, 1 mag in the gun, 2 additional mags, revolver shooters, single stack users....again, LOL!!!

5-10 staged in the gun, 10-15 additional shotgun rounds; semi user get hosed on this stage

Just another reminder, shooters meeting at 8:30 am Saturday morning, shooting starts at 9 AM. So might want to be a little early to get registration, and your kit together. The meeting will be a good time to ask any general questions, and we will be going over some of the rules and safety aspects.

Storm put out a great email via IPSC Matches, thought I would copy it here for those of you not on that system.

Greetings fellow Zombie Hunter.

Just a short note regarding the anticipated Zombie invasion that is predicted for the EESA area on Saturday July 16th.

This match will proceed RAIN OR SHINE. I mean really do you expect the Zombies to melt if there is rain? As such please plan for appropriate footware and rain gear if the weather looks iffy.

Since this is the first ever EESA Multigun type of match and will be a new concept for many of our shooters we will be conducting a SHOOTERS BRIEFING at 8:30 am to review the rules and expectations.

This is a FUN match but we do have to concentrate on SAFETY always!
