Nice work on what looks like a very fun shoot! @$$hats will always show up and piss on the fun a little bit. I do like the idea of booting them out of the prize table line or identifying them and giving more helpful shooters priority next shoot.

Thanks for the video mebiuspower.

I would have patched and set steel :). I wish I got a slot before they filled up.
I snooze I lose.. I hope to make the next one.

Storm,
I didn't get arrested while B.B.Q.'in ;)

I would like to hear talk of someone else hosting a big three gun match, but alas......

Next year I will likely organize another one

We're organizing 3-gun at Sharon once again on Labour day but everything is up in the air right now with mud filled Range 6... :(

Perhaps, but accommodations can be made. People shouldn't be excluded because they can't do certain things/movements/positions. We need to try and make a place for everyone in our disciplines. Just because I can't do everything the same as other folks and won't be as fast doesn't mean and I can't shoot well, safely and have fun doing it.

It was that fear that kept me out of IPSC, but Kent Hill, and John Evers and any other IPSC guys I have spoken with have always been welcoming and accommodating. John even invited me to stay with him while taking the BB with him, I unfortunately couldn't take him up on the offer, but he was a real peach none the less.

Things can still be "physical" but not so rigid as to discourage fine folks from playing this nice games.

Accommodations can be and are made for legitimate reasons. The spirit of the obstacle must be kept in mind however. "Gaming" with a "but I have blister on my heel" will not cut it.

There is a reason a COF is setup the way it is and since we are quoting somewhat out of context.

Thanks for showing up, but clearly that was added after the questions were asked.

:D

Oh and PS what is the date of the multigun match you are running?

Also maybe we should move this off to a new thread.

I am going to have to respectively disagree. I shoot multigun exactly for the reason that it is difficult. There are many different shooting positions that other sports avoid, for the express purpose of including everyone. Not everyone can be accommodated all the time, and it sure sounds and feels like you are trying to dictate what a match should be like, even though you are doing it in a nicer way than most! Nice guilt trip!

There are going to be some subsets of sports or activities that people with disabilities are not going to be able to participate in, or have a difficult time participating in. To demand that a match director must include them is a little rich!

I never made any statement about you not being able to shoot well or safely
