Zombie deer

You mean chronic wasting disease? We don't have it in BC so no experience with it myself but I've read and listened to lots. Most hunters are at least aware of it. What are you looking to learn?

See this is why I worry hunting without a bayonet..... zombie deer

one or two are easy enough to deal with but when they come in packs look out

I shot a huge black tail buck a few years ago from a sitting position at 40 feet , perfectly level and broadside shot. Hit him once and he stood there, didn't even flinch. I held my point of aim and even though i could clearly see blood trickling down his side, I hit him again in the same spot. Then the thing kind of bucked, turned and looked at me and then head down came right for me in a zombie walk. I had to stand up, side step and shoot him right in the ear hole as he went by me. Was a freaky thing....... zombie deer? Was he an undead deer and it took the head shot to put him down LOL
tasted just fine though and his rack is euro mounted on my wall. 180gr federal .303 british and both bullets performed perfectly turning his vitals to jelly.

Chronic Wasting disease. We have it here. Heads from certain areas have to be submitted for testing. Positve, You No Eat. Just discovered in Quebec lately, you'll have it before long. :(
