My first attempt at powder coating. Well my second my first batch I left the rack up too high and melted all my bullets LOL.

They turned out cool. Check out the video on link below. The powder coat added 2 grains to the over all weight of the bullet.

I need to make a few hundred of these and test them. But the first 10 were promising.

I use the shake and bake method. Several hundred 9mm bullets at a time shake for about 1 minute in a #5 plastic container with about a teaspoon of powder coat. I then dump the works on a tray with non stick aluminum foil. Shake the tray so that they are an even layer and bake for 20 min at 400deg. Once cool, pull apart any stuck together and size. They don't look showroom quality but the driving bands have full coverage which is all you need to avoid leading.

I do the same as mikey but also swirl the container over a rug to help build static, seems to do a bit better job. I also stand up the bullets but am going to try a batch laying down.

Noticing the static sparks coming off the fur of one of the house cats while petting it one night, I suggested to the wife "I should skin one of them and throw the hide in my swirling pot to increase the static in the powder"....knowing her pretty well Auggie, what do you think her response was...

I'm surprised you still have fingers to type with. Or did you get some voice recognition software?
