My +6 extension and clamp are currently sitting in customs. Ordered from cactus, no problems yet.
I pretty sure i'm checking USPS tracking like every 27 seconds. I hate waiting for packages, even moreso when they have tracking.
Out of curiosity, why did you choose +6 for a standard-manual gun? To have some extra if you get time to load on the move?
+6 it is, even though it looks like it'll extend 4" past the barrel since I'll be running a 24" lol Thanks for the tips guys. On a side note, my bambina came in pistol grip (the deal was too good to pass up on).. Any tricks to fast loading one in this configuration? Any videos? Quick googling didn't help.
Thanks for all the tips guys.. I'll be making a post on EE to trade the stock for sure and will be contacting Nik for AP customs 4x4's. I might go on a budget, only get 3 and make do with the 2 cali comp shell holders in case I REALLY fumble during the match.. The stage is most likely a writeoff anyway if I need the extra 12 shells' worth of real-estate lol
Well remember that IPSC COFs can be up to 32 rounds, and you want a few extra in case of fumbles or whatever. That means 24 on the belt is an absolute bare minimum (unloaded starts can be up to 24 rounds) and 32 or more would be better.
I figured 3x8 + 2x6 would get me there (36 total)... 24 for if all goes well and 12 if shtf and I just need to finish the stage any which way I can.
That'll work fine.
For a 32 round stage just load out of a box of shells and save the belt for after the beep.
Forget about 4x4 caddies. Replace your pistol grip with a regular stock and get any of load2 caddies.
