This one is fine for the range, i was talking about the 10 inch+ barrel... JP.
460 is a blast for a dozen rounds or so, And great to get attention at the range...
I have one already paid just waiting on my new card to come in so they can approve the transfer.
So you went a head with it? I was hoping you'd back out so I'd HAVE to buy it
That's the one I saw! Sweet Jeebus it makes my fingers numb just looking at it! WTF is up with the sling swivels anyhow!? I don't get it!?
One of our dealer have in stock those revolvers, in 5 inch and 8 and 3/8 barrel lenght, any recomendation between the 2 barrel lenght, myself is drawned to the 5 inch barrel... The fact that you can shoot the 45 Colt/ 454 Casull and the 460 S&W is a big +... Buying a 45 Colt is the next step on my list so i have interest here... Thanks... JP.
I personally prefer the balanced look of the 5" 460V with the shorter "muzzle brake"(jacketed bullets). I've shot 454 Casull thru mine but will stick to the 460Magnums for pure S&G's.
I usually bring these three to the range when I'm in the Revolver mood….plink away with the Bearcat, then the 44Mag and if the next stalls are "empty" I'll bring out the 460V for a couple of cylinders.

The 460 is so much fun, and easy to shoot IMO.
^ a fu<ken bi-pod! This is a photo shop joke right!?
Get a bi-pod and S&B scope for it and you're set.. Will probably group as good as your AR10 ;-)
nope, it has a picitinny rail cut into the bottom of the frame, the bipod comes stock with the gun. it also comes with a shoulder strap.
Not an S and B but here is my set up. its a Leupold vx-3 2.5 to 8 power by 32 mounted with a one of a kind custom from Canadian manufacturer Near Manufaturing. its heat treated stress relieved stainless.

It is great for silhouette shooting, I can push a 200 grain shell 2500 fps easy, ive pushed 300 grain xtp mag's 1800 fps. (over a chono, not book speed) there is a lot more to be had but i don't want to put my barrel through that kind of abuse.
