Any Plans for a .308 AR? MAJOR UPDATE MAY 8 2014

I think something like this has been a long time coming. A truly original Canadian battle rifle.

Any long term plans? Caliber variety? Licensing? Military?

I think it's pretty cool that you went DI when all the new designs coming out are piston.

It is NOT a battle rifle!! It is a SPORTING rifle!!
We do not have any plan of looking to the military for sales, there are plenty of player already in that market.
As for calibers, we start with 308, but can do 243, 260 or pretty much anything based on the 308 casing, but for now the only offering will be 308.
Piston rifles are not known to be as accurate as DI operated rifles are and we are all about accuracy.

that sounds awesome! ATRS quality and workmanship in a Semi NR? sign me up! So long as it takes Magpul Pmags, has a threaded barrel as well as having an AR style buffer tube and pistol grip, I'd buy one for sure!

Also curious if it takes an AR10 style bolt.

Awesome news....hopefully it won't be cost prohibitive for the average Joe. The reason the AR-15 is so successful is, function, accuracy and cost....cant wait for pics and pricing :)
