an awesome 3 gun set up, zombie land :)

Great range. That's not grass but hemp on the berms.

Not sure why this kind of multigun is not more popular in Canada but that should change.

There are two reasons we'll never get the same type of 3gun here..
Real estate and regulations.

Sure... we can run stuff close to what we do in the US, but much of it would be prevented either by your cfo or your club exec

I would like to add, most people have no idea the amount of time to set something like this up....as well the resources required to run a match like this.
The people that do know, quickly burn out from lack of help!

I "may" entertain running a larger 3 Gun Match next year....this year, I am trying to focus on my shooting!

Jesse is always fun to watch!

There is nothing in those videos other than mag capacities that would be an issue in Canada, nothing.

The machinery behind 3gun in the US far out does anything we have.
Not only do they have the manpower they have the money and expertise.
Yes... typically for major matches entry fees appear very high.
$300 for BRM3G, over $400 for RMG3G World Shoot, but...
The stages can't be compared to anything we do here.
The sponsorship as well is mammoth compared to us.
Several of the majors boast prize tables valued in the tens/hundreds of thousands of dollars.
I recall the last FNH3G I went to.... they gave away 50 some odd pistols.... you'll NEVER see that here.

Other than the fact that in Ontario, all steel shot outdoors with handgun and rifle would have to be shrouded......complete bs, and totally stupid, and completely lacking in any science, but we are handcuffed by the CFO in that regard!

Not to mention a minimum of 10 metres to steel, even for birdshot.

Well.... if you need to be <10m from your targets in order to hit them you have some practice to do.. Lol

Big advantage in the US is that these matches can be held almost anywhere. Blue Ridge is held almost if not completely over natural terrain whereas we are confined to "approved" ranges.

It was more a comment about options for stage design as opposed to difficulty :) Here if we want shotgun targets at < 10 m then they have to be clay or paper. Those zombie head clay holders they show in the video would count as steel targets as far as the CFO would be concerned.

Technically we could have shotgun-only matches out in the woods but getting insurance would likely prove difficult.

clay holders do not count as steel according to our cfo. if that was the case then target stands made of steel would too.

As far as I know "regular" clay holders made out of rebar don't count as steel here in Ontario, but the ones shown in the video had quite a lot of material to them. They are basically a plate with a hole cut out for a clay pigeon. No way our CFO would not count them as a steel target.

Sadly some other provinces have less stupidity to deal with than we do here.
