Anyone run cast bullets and have any tips for load data in their .375 Ruger? It would be nice to have some plinking loads.
With 300 gr cast, 16 grs of Unique makes a bit better than 1200.

ALthough I have a fair amount of .375 Ruger brass, I just picked up some .30 cal cast bullets and will turn some .300WM brass into .375 Ruger, just for the fun of it!

Just got a 375 Ruger Alaskan, looking forward to shooting it.
If you want to save a bunch of powder, use a filler like CoW or cornmeal, I found it took 80+ grains of 3031 to properly form just using a bullet, I should have used some filler and probably about 1/2 the powder, or a different powder.
The .375 Ruger is going on a bear hunt tomorrow. Since I may have a shot at 300 meters, the bullet of choice will be the flat shooting 250 Grain Barnes TTSX.
Good luck ! That 250 TTSX is a good penetrator bullet for sure ! Bring us some pics and a good storey back !cheers RJ
