.375 Ruger....

ALthough I have a fair amount of .375 Ruger brass, I just picked up some .30 cal cast bullets and will turn some .300WM brass into .375 Ruger, just for the fun of it!

If you want to save a bunch of powder, use a filler like CoW or cornmeal, I found it took 80+ grains of 3031 to properly form just using a bullet, I should have used some filler and probably about 1/2 the powder, or a different powder.

I am all tagged up this spring. Got one on the 12th and one on the 17th. the one on the 12th was 60yds lung shot and it dropped hard. the 17th was a Big bore at 5yds. We were spot and stocking him. He was so focused on my buddy he didn't know I was there. then he spooked and came up the hill at me ( not a charge. he didn't know I was there) Glad I had my 375ruger for that one. Both bears were shot with Ruger Alaskan 375Ruger and 300g Sierra SBT.

Very happy with that bullet. toonie size exits and no bloodshot meat.

Here is my friends first bear/Game animal . A cinnamon too boot. He shot it with a Browning Xbolt 300WM
