Hey!!!

I wanna play too.

Got home late last night and put it together today. Had to get some extra high rings to get a comfortable cheek weld.

Nice looking Tavors.. Keep them coming :)

Can someone take a picture of a gen2 Tavor with a Mepro M5 red dot.. I'm thinking of picking it up for my Tavor, but want to see how it will look.

Hey Crumlin - does the light obscure your sight picture at all? Why didn't you go to the side rail?

Not Crumlin, but I'll answer.. No it doesn't obscure the sight picture..
If you have a variable scope, then you might see a tiny edge of it when zoom is on x1, but anything higher, you dont see the light.
As for the side, it's just easier to switch it on and off that way, without changing a grip on a gun.

Not true.

I also have an Elcan Specter DR and on 1x I can see the last 4 to 5 inches of rail in the bottem of the scopes field of view. Elcans sit pretty low and if I hold my thumb over the rail at the very farthest forward part of rail it blocks the bottem 1/4 of the field of view on 1x.

I would never put a flashlight in that position. I would either go on the off-set rail or in a Gear Head Works TMF which I just so happen to have a BNIB one for sale.

Took the girlfriend to the range the other day. At first the amount of noise from the PWS scared her but she warmed up to it. I've gotta say, shooting clay targets with a red dot is a lot of fun.

I put it in to give it try but ended up removing the grip and rail. I would like to try the new MI hanguard then I could see the use of a fore grip being further forward and more natural feeling. I didn't like how close in it was.

I watched that video and it looked like you babied it the entire course lol :D

Really? Because I don't think I'd posted any video of the Tavor in Parma until today. Everything was covered with dust and grit by the end! I also managed to get some new paint on the gun by heating up the barrel with a good string then rubbing up against a barrier.

Is it recommended to put a fore grip on a Tavor? is it better that using the standard grip?

Reccomended? I dunno. IWI US likes to use it in their promo materials.

If you've got one: try it and see if you like it. I tried it, and didn't like it.

I did just get the AB Arms grip in the mail though. Apparently its "designed from the ground up for the Tavor."
