You guys do realize the Yeti mystery was solved this year right?
Seriously.

Dna evidence from several hair findings indicate that it is a sub-species of the brown bear/polar bear, up to now, un-cataloged. While highly interesting, and quite different from regular bears, it's an elusive bear, not an ape man. Scientist suspect it's behavior may be quite different from "normal" bears as well, which would explain the hysteria around it walking somewhat upright.

What is very interesting about that is that it actually makes Bigfoot more believe able, as it proves some creature that isn't supposed to be there can actually exist. Which is a bit ironic, really. :)

That's the thing. Possible and plausible are not the same thing. The lack of related animals is what makes the story of a giant mysterious primate less likely. Certainly possible, but too unique to be likely. There are many stories of animals thought to be extinct, that are found to be still around, but they all exist in fossil form, or skeletal remains. Bigfoot has never been found in any way, shape , or form. Living, dead, long dead, dna, skeleton, hide...nada. The yeti/bear existed in scientific finds from europe, remains were found in Norway, I believe, dating from back in the last ice age.

oh, they are pretty good at keeping hidden in the dense woods! And they take care of their own kind. They leave no trace. They take their dead away and leave nothing behind to show. Lac La Ronge SK is loaded with them. Just take a trip there, look up Kelly, and you will become a believer in the truth! He will show you things that you won't believe, if you have the guts to tag along.

It is almost time actually............

Be looking to book my time off work shortly so those interested must act quickly as I am only willing to take one individual with me.

Remember that going into this you must have a completely open mind and will see and experience things that will leave you a changed person.

Giant Human Skeletons Discovered in Wisconsin?

http://guardianlv.com/2014/02/giant-human-skeletons-discovered-in-wisconsin/

I have been checking the local bedding areas, however the late spring has slowed the movement into their summer homes.

The grass is just beginning to take on full green which they are really attracted too in this area. They are just about to start having their young and the soft bedding areas are an ideal spot for the young to gain strength and balance without risk of too much harm or injury.

It is a tricky area to get into when they are migrating but I can try ,this will not be without great personal risk. However the rewards of the find will be tremendous.

They can be attracted or baited so to speak but I cannot reveal this technique due to it's high risk nature of doing it incorrectly and becoming another statistic among Sasquatch hunters. It is parallel only to nuclear experimentation.

I am willing to take on a partner if the monetary compensation is fitting of the risks involved, there is a chance that only one or maybe both don't make it back.

^^^WOW! I don't know if "I'm" nutz or if your just doing such a great job at selling "crazy" that I believe you, but if I had the cash I'd be in. I spend a lot of time in the Robson Valley and I am sure something is going on around Mica Mountain so I wouldn't doubt it in Prince. Good luck Kelly, the truth is out there!

Actually, if you read the article, it only deals with "alleged findings", and mentions that none have been verified by experts, and that none are on display, anywhere. That means, they don't exist, are fakes (common in the 1800's, from mermaids, to mummys.) or their is an elaborate plot to cover it up, involving thousands of members of a species that cannot keep a secret. Sounds neat though. I would love to see some evidence, it would be mind blowing. Sadly, that is unlikely to happen.

I want to believe, I'm just harder to fool than most, and understand that seeing is not believing. Just ask cops about eye witnesses.

Anything they can get their hands on to be honest.

They can swing a log with amazing force, can crush a truck box side easily, I have seen them come through our shop.

I would say they are almost on par with a buffalo with compared to strength and potential to do damage.

Once our weather lets up a bit I will head out and start gathering photo samples if I can.

Are there any jurisdictions in Canada where it's specifically illegal to shoot a bigfoot ? I just watched Les Strouds two part series and he claims to have had unusual encounters in northern Quebec , northern Ontario , Alberta , British Colombia , Alaska and maybe the Yukon . I see it as no different than shooting coyotes to sell their hides or any trapper and the first person to clock a bigfoot would be an instant millionaire . Doesn't matter to me if they walk on two legs or what they look like , for a million apiece i'd clock the whole family .

Am not wearing no fur coats around you.

You could make a case for Gigantopithecus. Not that I am, not being a believer.

Yes, but thanks to Chinese boner medicine, no parts still exist, other than teeth, and three mandibles, which really tell us very little about this animal.

I agree, but looking at the other way those few teeth and jawbones seem to be enough for those scientists to draw sweeping conclusions about Gigantopithecus's existence, time-frame, range and such. They would have you believe that they know what it ate, and possible life-style all based on a few teeth. Its not that hard of a pull to stretch the already stretched theory to include a North American subspecies.

I'm not trying to make that case BTW. If there was a giant man ape running around BC the mountain sled guys and houndsmen would have treed several by now.
