Bigfoot ... ???

They're real. I don't believe in spike-fork bull moose though. Sure lots of people claim to have seen them, but I've never seen one myself.
I wouldn't shoot a Sasquatch since I don't want to eat one, and I've never heard of them attempting to harm a human. Further, I wouldn't want to shoot one and while I was lookin at it, have one of its homies come up behind me. I wouldn't be very understanding if I found someone kneeling over my buddy that they just shot...

so what is the difference between a big foot and a guy who has spent a month in the bush ?

Sometimes they end up looking like this.....

You guys do realize the Yeti mystery was solved this year right?
Seriously.

Dna evidence from several hair findings indicate that it is a sub-species of the brown bear/polar bear, up to now, un-cataloged. While highly interesting, and quite different from regular bears, it's an elusive bear, not an ape man. Scientist suspect it's behavior may be quite different from "normal" bears as well, which would explain the hysteria around it walking somewhat upright.

Yeah.

The thing with DNA is that they need something to compare it to. Unless there is a definitive specimen all they can do is say what the sample isn't.

Not really. If you have 98% brown bear, 96% polar bear, you have a bear. The chance of it being a primate is nill. In this case, they took the only solid evidence that is directly related to a sighting, typed it, and found it was an animal not known to live in the areas, but is known to science, as a bear, thought to be extinct. The hair samples were from a living specimen, and would have been impossible to fake, without a time machine.

So basically, there is two rare creatures that would fit the same description, wandering these remote areas, one highly unlikely (a giant primate, in an area not known for it) , and one that is a much more sensible answer to the mystery. The most likely answer, is almost always the right one.

There's a $7 million bounty on Boko Haram, $5 million on Mokhtar Belmokhtar. If you want to do something useful rather than speculate on the legality of shooting a fictional creature.
Unicorns are protected everywhere. And you need a virgin to catch 'em anyway.

I don't believe in adult female virgins. Go sell your make believe somewhere else. Male virgins, on the other hand, are common as Magic; The Gathering cards.

I have been checking the local bedding areas, however the late spring has slowed the movement into their summer homes.

The grass is just beginning to take on full green which they are really attracted too in this area. They are just about to start having their young and the soft bedding areas are an ideal spot for the young to gain strength and balance without risk of too much harm or injury.

It is a tricky area to get into when they are migrating but I can try ,this will not be without great personal risk. However the rewards of the find will be tremendous.

They can be attracted or baited so to speak but I cannot reveal this technique due to it's high risk nature of doing it incorrectly and becoming another statistic among Sasquatch hunters. It is parallel only to nuclear experimentation.

I am willing to take on a partner if the monetary compensation is fitting of the risks involved, there is a chance that only one or maybe both don't make it back.

Kelly, what a fantastic offer! If I was only younger and in better shape I would certainly jump at this great opportunity. I'm a long ways away from P.A., but that wouldn't matter. I'm sure you'll get a good partner to undertake this once in a life time experience. Good Luck and God Speed. I pray you make it back.

Realities? Yeti, Loch Ness, Chupacobra, Mothman, Jersey Devil, Mermaids, Oggopogo, Mokele M'bembe... all possible, as is Tupac being alive, Elvis is doing well as an Elvis impersonator, Hitler retired in Argentina...

I would like these critters to be real, but with all the hunter cams out there, and hunters, hikers, loggers, miners... and never find a body, or get a decent pic? Unlikely, if there is a breeding population.

There actually is a lot of photographic and video evidence as well as hundreds of thousands of witness accounts. But because of the stigma surrounding Bigfoot, all is instantly branded aaa B.S. When brought to light.
Only a body will accepted as proof.
