E-Lander 1911 Mags

Today I got mine. For those curious, these mags fit like a glove in my "no markings" norinco. Tight fit in my chromed compact but are getting better with use. So far these things look and feel great.

Just back from the range, 200 rounds of 45 ball later, I have mixed feelings. Two mags functioned perfectly, no failures, they seated easily on a closed slide, locked the slide back after the last round. One mag was double feeding after using the slide release and not going fully into battery afrer each shot, requiring a nudge on the slide.

The last mag refused to do anything, I was confused until I noticed that the semi circular scalloped notch on the back of the mag was missing! It must have gotten past quality control... Mr. Wolverine I tried to PM you but it said you weren't accepting messages.

Ahh you must have gotten one of the California compliant magazines we got sent in error. Like AR-GUY says contact us and it shall be rectified for you.

This/\/\ happened to me as well. I bought 2 one was good one was bad. The lips at the top where about .050 too tall and no notch. I fixed it myself with a surface grinder and I notched out the back with an 3/8 end mill. I had to do some metal forming to get a nice fit. IMO I did a better job Thk. I also found that they feed better with the springs reversed. They do work fine, pretty much what I expected for the price.

Credit to the Wolverine guys, I emailed them on the weekend and received a reply first thing this morning, and another email from canada post with return shipping labels a few minutes later. Sounds like they are going to take care of it so I'm happy, this is a new product line being offered so I understand a few hiccups off the start. Great customer service so far.
