Remington 870 Marine Magnum Value?

Hey all.

Looking to sell my 870 Marine Magnum.

Bought used. Nothing other than sling. Butt stock limb saver thingy has some stickiness to it like it got hot at one point.

I remember seeing a few sold awhile back in the$600.00 range.

I think they're about $750 new. I wouldn't pay more than $600 shipped for one in good shape and no accessories.

If its from before 2000 its worth. What others have posted, if post 2000 its just an. Express with electroless nickle finish.
Original MM had all stainless parts right down to pins and bolts, then electroless nickle plated.
Mine from 1994 has 80,000+ rounds fired and still ticking!

Here's the thing though...there's an 870 Police Marine Magnum. But it doesn't say Police on the receiver. Is that one made any differently than the Express Marine Magnum? The Police one has rifle sights.

You can check by the barrel code. There should be two letters stamped into the barrel on the left side I think. It will tell you month and year of manufacture.

The recoil pad breakdown is a manufacturing defect covered by warranty. Call Gravel Agency and they should send you a new one.

For the blued models that could've had a barrel swap, yes, but I would strongly suspect this one has the factory barrel from new.

All I could find on the barrel of consequence was a hand stamp that looked like an "O" with what looked like a partial "K".....?

According to bolded info above, it was made in July of 1990.
