2014 BC Precision Rifle Championship June 13-15, 2014

Hi guys!
Sorry for the delay. I am not very often here.
First of all, thanks to everyone who makes it happen!

Here is my target:

Hey vikviti,
Thanks for posting the target. Congratulations once again on the fantastic shooting. You sure made it easy on the scorers by making all 10, clean hits.
Well done.

Hey John H. Can we get you to post your target from the dots of doom?
I think it is worth seeing. If I remember correctly he shot a 7, in the 5 o'clock position with the cold boref:P:2:. Made a "quick" adjustment and shot 8 rings before running out of time:sok2. From what I understand he was using a borrowed rifle.

Personally I thought that all the stages were relevant. Yes the agony snap is a pain but it is relevant. If wanted, it could be cut to 10 rds and only 3 second exposures. The me and my shadow stage was originally at 300m but was shifted to 200m and the exposures were supposed to be cut to 3 seconds from 5 seconds. Unfortunately things got a little fubared in translation and they ended up staying at 5 seconds which was a touch too long. Noted for next year. As for movers well I don't know anyone who doesn't want to shoot movers at 300m. Yes the bull box was a little large but hey I had one outside the box on the target so who am I to say. That one can be made a little more challenging by simply installing a bullseye inside the box. A simple circle would work which I have lots of templates for.
In the end I thought it was all good. We can probably squeeze in an explanation of each match to the shooters before we kick off. Noted there as well. As for where rifles are pointed etc, well its kinda big boy rules on military ranges. Rifles get cleared off by your partner and yourselves. Once that's done you are good to go. When I am running a range if rifles are on the line and someone is down range its no problem as long as they are unloaded and no one is near them. They can't go off by themselves lol. Turning them around is unnecessary but I get why it was done in this case.

Anyways here's the scores!

Thanks for posting those Ryan. My goal for the next couple of years will be flipping my score from second last to second.

What was everyone shooting? I was shooting a REM 700 with a Rock 5R barrel. Schmidt and bender pm2 on top. My ammo was Norma brass with 44.4 gr of Varget with a Berger 175 OTM on top. Shot pretty good.

Not sure? I'm guessing its junior as he appears to be in his mid 30s so I'm guessing a jr for him wouldn't be old enough yet. Not even sure if Rob has any kids lol.

What year is the Sako from? I'm going to order two more of them this summer but I'm not hearing good things about the new trigger pack. My current TRG22 is from 2002 I think.

I honestly have no idea, I don't see it stamped anywhere. I bought it used last fall, and the past owner bought it used.... so I'm at least the 3rd owner. I don't even know a firm round count number for this rifle. All I do know is it's been re-painted and the paint is flaking off.
