Hey guys. I need to know, to those of you who have deacts in your collection, do you enjoy them? Obviously they aren't as much fun as having the real deal, but is having one in any condition better than not at all?
I've been obsessed with Brens for a few years now. I've never even had the chance to fondle one as of yet. I have only three rifles in my collection that I have never shot, one was a recent acquisition, another was my Grandfathers 1894 that he bought in 1920 and is sacred, and the last is my Ross M-10 that is in nearly perfect condition and for that reason I'm putting off shooting it. There are enough out there in shooter condition that I can get a Ross in .280 to shoot later. I love that rifle though even though I don't shoot it, and I enjoy looking at it and holding it a lot.
Question is, do you feel that spending $1500 on an LMG you can never shoot worth it?
