hey where does Canada rank in ipsc like 118th lol and 154th there is a guy in standard at 19th but come on , USA rules and you know it. keep wearing your sweet green shirt and laugh at the poor guy but in all reality its the rest of the world that laughs at you Canadians ipsc thinking your all that when your not. I cant wait to move back to Arizona and not deal with people who think are so special and have 4000 dollar guns lol while my wilson commemorative is worth twice that just waiting for me to come home. I feel crappy about Canadians having to pay so much when 30 mins down south its a fraction of the cost and everyone is welcomed and no one laughs at you. its the opposite there are plenty of people willing to help out unlike what I see from you corey, you can shove your green shirt up your ... rio salado is waiting for me to come home much better then anything in Canada, and I get to carry concealed for 60 bucks and a 20 dollar admin fee, GOD BLESS AMERICA.

OK two things... They said you need to be BB, but it's not an IPSC match. Secondly; Don't let the door hit you.

ps. IPSC world champion is not from the USA.
look at the American flags on the the top 10 finishes in all classes, Canada doesnt even come close. if you ever go down there get your chip off your shoulder because the USA backs you up as your military is absolutely worthless.i believe bc ferries has the largest fleet in Canada lol I remember reading that down there and people laughing. Canadian military have to be picked up by US helicopters when wounded cause they don't have any .

OK I am trying to figure this out. Who is the reigning world champion in IPSC? He's not an American.

Now maybe you can explain to me why you live in Canada and are talking smack about Canada? You seem to be trying to take this thread into what? a Canada bashing thread? On a Canadian gun forum? Are you an idiot? Remind us all where you are from.

6.5 Competitor Status and Credentials

6.5.1 All competitors must be individual members of the IPSC Region in which they normally reside. Residency is
defined as the Region where the individual is ordinarily domiciled for a minimum of 183 days of the twelve
months immediately preceding the month in which the match begins. Ordinarily domiciled condition is a
physical presence test and does not relate to citizenship or to any address of convenience. The 183 days need
not be consecutive or the most recent 183 days of the twelve month period. In any case, match organizers
must not accept any competitor from a foreign Region unless the Regional Director of that Region has
confirmed the competitor's eligibility to participate in the subject match.

TL;DR

You live in Canada and as such must be a member of IPSC Canada.

ill write the regional director ill do a safety check and well c what happens. uspsa does not discriminate what country you are from neither does the nra so anyone can have an uspsa membership. ill contact my regional director for zone 2 and ask them why they think uspsa members can compete in canada when canada does not welcome them.

ipsc standings are available on the net, and what else are you referring too?

You probably don't realize that at least 80% of the top Canadians show up with an American flag beside their name.

... And of course nobody discriminates against you for membership purposes; you're giving them money! So go ahead and contact... Wait, what? Regional director, zone 2? There is no such position in USPSA. You are clearly just trolling the board. Go find somewhere else to stir the pot.

For all intents and purposes USPSA is the governing body for IPSC in the US (IPSC US was the original name of the USPSA) as such folks who reside in the US and are USPSA members are able to shoot IPSC matches. Since they're the founding region they're afforded some leeway in having their own rulebook. IPSC has no issues with USPSA members shooting in Canada as long as the competitor resides in the US. In fact a group of shooters from Michigan is present at the Ontario Provincials most years.
