Chit.. Sold out.. was going to pick up another one. This was a good deal.. Ammo is $299, getting a SKS for $100!
Just picked up a rifle from them. Than this deal hits… at this rate may as well give CanAm direct access to the bank account..loll

From a different seller I picked up a 1951 Russian with a chrome bolt. Checked out the barrel, looks chrome lined as well. Was covered in storage oil. Used brake cleaner to clean it up which worked well… great rifle.

The more SKS’s the better. Everyone should have 2 of these, one to spruce up, and original to leave as is.

why do people prefer Chinese over Russian?

The Russian are better quality, so if you find a good one you have machined parts vs extensive use of stamping. But they sometimes comes with serious problems also. There are dozens of different models so generalizations only.

They used to have those along with Norinco silver box 7.62x39. I should have bought the combo when I bought my 858, but I had tons of 7.62x39 already.
