I was shooting clays with my 20" 590A1 last week with ease. I find that length to be a nice compromise for recreation use and the tactical look.

That's awesome! Love wood on tactical firearms. You don't see too many Mossbergs with wood but it's a great looking combo. Where'd you get it? Is it walnut or hardwood or?

Don't know, got it used on the EE and refinished it. VZ58 wood was NOS (from an armorer's kit?) from the EE and I refinished it as well.

Nothing too fancy...I was thinking of using a red dot but found the folding sights at a good price and thought I'd give them a try. I'm liking the simplicity of it.

Here are the details:

• Magpul handstop
• UTG rail protectors
• Kydex cheekpiece--not sure of the manufacturer

Actually I haven't fired it yet--picked it up off the EE and just got the sights yesterday for it. I owned one a couple of years ago that was fine.

Had it out tonight—it worked great! Well, except that the kydex cheekpiece was sliding forward under recoil...I may ditch it.

Just put together my DA 12.5" Grizzly. Knoxx recoil reducing stock, tacstar side saddle, IMI defense overmoulded foregrip on a fab defense railed forend. I have an offset mount on order for a flashlight and am looking for a short rail to mount on the receiver to attach a TRS-25.

The rail mounts to the adapter with two hex bolts and to the mag clamp. Solid and no play what so ever.
