NEA 7.62x39 Rifle Announced?

Can't say I would have a ton of confidence in an NEA made bolt.

Looks like they ripped these guys design off though

Yes, the 7.62x39 guns will be out soon, they were test firing the guns today. We'll also be posting 22 LR uppers shortly in combos and putting some of our demo guns up for sale in the next day or two.

How about making this in 5.45x39 ... if we had a rifle chambered in this and you could bring surplus ammo in, it'd be a winner!

Funny, I have sold over 250 NEA AR15's in the last two months and over 1000 in the last 12 months...plus 500 plus stripped lowers and over 300 complete uppers. If all these problems still existed you'd see people talking about it on here a lot more. Were there problems before, yes, but those days are gone and warranty issues are few and far between. Pretty much all the problems went away when they revamped the gun and changed the quad rail system..

why does this always become a bashing thread, cant we just talk about something new?
who ever gets ones first, post what combo of mag, ammo and if steel/ brass case.
I have up on the 762x39 longtime ago due to issues, love to see that back on the market again.

What he said.

Hopefully they have just uppers available for a decent price and they've sorted out the bolt breakage issues. I'd much rather shoot x39 through an AR than my XCR if I'm on the range, and I've got a $hit-ton of it to shoot!

Well, if using the same grade steel is "ripping them off", sure.

It's not even close otherwise...

Yeah, i guess using the same steel and rounded lugs, although slightly different rounding is not ripping them off....cuz they added a 4TH GAS RING!!! ####ING GENIUS! lol

Are you also selling just. 22 uppers or are you only selling them in combos?

Ryan, your service and the way you handle NEA manufacturing issues is probably what saved them more then anything. Hope they gave you shares!

This idea is a dead horse. 5.45 is not as cheap as one might think, and having but one firearm chambered for it does not make it economically viable to import in bulk.

Ya well the company showed its true colours an that will never be forgiven or forgotten, regardless of how much they appear to have improved the product.

Warranty issues are far and few between.......so curious how many of those guns had problems still and what sort of problems?

Such information really helps customers make decisions on their purchases.

With Colts from IRG for just over a grand, plenty of deals on the EE and now Wolverine offering DD for under a grand, only a fool would put money down for an inferior product from an unethical company like NEA. Sales are sales but I wouldn't classify the sale of NEA rifles as a testament to the quality of the product given the far better options available at prices equal to, below, and slightly above that of an NEA/

Hey, the gangs all here now...all we are missing is MG4201....

I love these threads, they always boost sales for some reason.

Why don't we go back to talking about 7.62x39 AR's, pro's, con's etc.

I have a 20" DPMS in 7.62 but it will be nice to have something shorter...not that I have time to shoot anyways.

The one issue I have with it is that the bullets seem to go subsonic at 4-500 yards and they pattern opens up.
