My Glocks are officially paper weights....

A compulsive buyer never buy by one... JP.
its not the gun that shoots the bullet its the hand that holds it..the gun only helps you direct the projectile in a given direction..im sure with a little practice you would master the glock..dont shelves them ...practice makes prefect and nobody says that shooting is easy because its hard work. maybe your just lazy....sorry had to say it..because i shoot everything from 1911 to glock to cz to smith to taurus etc...and i hit my mark every time... learn how to shoot first with anything you got..thats what makes shooting FUN

exactly. good shooter and can shoot anything well.

I am not a good shooter but I can state this for sure. I have various guns and some are more accurate than others. Why would they make such a thing as a target gun if this was not the case. I have one target gun it it is crazy accurate, much better than any other gun I own. A lot of my problem is the sights on most of my guns are too wide apart in the rear sight so I have to try to balance the distance side to side and up and down. I have two guns with great sights and this is not an issue with them.

good shooter can shoot anything. light triggers, short reset, trigger prep, etc are just excuses for training or the lack thereof.

Target pistols have minor changes to make them more consistent. Often more meticulous construction of parts like the barrel and trigger/sear.

If your pistol is a duty/service pistol then you're using the wrong tool for precision work. You admit you are not a good shot which mean you haven't the experience to make claims about the inherent accuracy of any firearm. What you're experiencing is the benefits of a light trigger in the hands of an untrained shooter. I assure you the other pistols you own are more than capable of outshooting your abilities and that of most others.

As mentioned, service pistols are not designed for extreme accuracy and the sights offered on or for service pistols aren't designed for extreme accuracy either. That's not to say they can't be shot accurately because they can. However, one needs to keep in mind the gun, the sights, the ammo and most importantly the skill of the shooter before making bold claims regarding the inherent accuracy of a firearm.

Do you run your glocks stock?
Both of mine came with night sights but I find the grip texturing to be ineffective.
I don't know why I haven't yet but I'm really leaning towards grip tape as a possible solution that acording to one of the above posters does not exist..... Slippery grip texture.

Your not the first to recognize that for the most part talent and ability trumps tools and not just in shooting but almost every human endeavour.

That said I do appreciate working with good skills and good tools.

I run them stock with the exception of xs big dot sights and an aftermarket guide rod which makes spring changes easier and cheaper. As a side note I do run 20lbs recoil springs.

Haven't tried grip tape but a $12 Hogue slip-on works on my gen3 G17 and smoothed out the finger-grooves.

lol what a waste
Hey I bet lot's of people disagree with Caramel's spending/bragging of his spending power, but I know some people that are delighted by this...
RETAILERS, they gotta love him

Joking aside, I do find some valid points to your threads caramel, it's just the way they are presented. It may be language barrier who knows, even the title gives it a bad start.

No doubt Caramel is good for the economy but those are terrible key chains... :)

What's with the tails caramel?

Oh ya and I know I already asked you earlier but, have you tried increasing the "grip" of the grip?

I think my tools are just perfect in their new tasks... JP.

Well, it's too bad you weren't able to use them properly. Hopefully you learn enough to use something else correctly in the future.

That's life... JP.
