Worth trading a M&P 9mm for a CZ 75B?

Hey guys. So i recently bought a M&P 9mm range kit. I do like the pistol, but a week or two ago I handled a CZ 75 and it felt better in my hands. Also I heard the quality and accuracy is slighty better, Is that true? Anyways I have a guy that had his CZ 75B up for sale and I offered to trade, but before I do I just wanted to know if it is worth it? Am I getting a better pistol or no? It comes with 4 mags, Blackhawk holster, two cleaning rods.

Id say so, both are good guns but the cz has a cult following and more available info and parts here in Canada in my experience.
Plus the better it fits you the better you will do and more fun you will have!
 
I am not familiar with the M&P, but I have owned a CZ 75B for a number of years and I have to tell you it's one heck of a pistol! It fits my hand perfectly and is very accurate. My 75B is a definit keeper.
 
I shot both back when I was trying to make up my mind. I bought the CZ.

Later on I added a second CZ to the "fleet". I still don't have an M&P.

Now having said that of the various polymer guns I've tried I DO like the M&P the most.

As far as accuracy any differences are buried by my ability... or lack of... :D I can shoot roughly 2.5 inch groups at 15 yards with either gun in slow deliberate fire. The old guy eyes and nerves prevents me doing any better. Now if YOU can see and hold more steady than me then I'd expect the groups to be smaller and perhaps a gun based group size variation would appear.
 
The M&P's entire trigger group can be customized and various sight options are available. The CZ's trigger can certainly be improved but not nrealy as easy- there are 'smiths around available to do the work. Sights to can be changed in a variety of ways vua several manufacturers.

I own both. There aren't many grips that are more comfortable than the CZ's but the M&P comes close. My experience with both guns would suggest for pure accuracy the CZ is the gun. Whether that accuracy translates to better scores in the games it is pretty hard to discern. For IDPA I think the polymer guns do have an advantage with their lower weight. Certainly if only the major matches were your guide the Glock/M&P dominate that sport. My limited experience in IPSC suggests the CZ and clones dominate Production Division. Different sports with different equipment requirements.

I had both...gave the CZ to my son. I prefer the M&P hands down. Value wise I believe they're about the same so whichever feels the best to you will be best.
 
I have the CZ75B SP-01 version. Most are Shadow guns, mine is the more "tactical" version. It's basically a CZ75B but with a 1913 rail, night sights and beavertail. The out of the box trigger was nothing to write home about but it has been worked over by a great 'smith and now wears a competition hammer, lighter springs, etc.

I have it in the EE because I, sadly, barely shoot my restricteds any more.
