This thread is for all things .375 Ruger. ......

Doesn't matter if you have posted it before, do it again. Let's get a great thread going about the fantastic .375 Ruger!

I have a LH SS laminate Hawkeye with a 2.5-8x36 VX3. I have two loads at this point, a 235 gr TSX load and a 260 gr Accubond load. Mine has a great trigger and is a .75 MOA rifle right out of the box. It is one of my favourites, so much so that i'm contemplating another and screwing on a .416 barrel. :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:

Oh yeah, almost forgot how the last New King thread ended...IBTL

African with a Boyds laminate, bedded and floated. Very consistent with 260 grain Accubonds over varget. Consistently under an inch even with a hot barrel, I'm very impressed and it will be a great hunting rifle.

Glass bead blasted 375 Ruger Alaskan in a Boyds pepper laminate stock.

Still working up my loads but seemed to have a lot of trouble with the Hornady brass.

Mine was built by Bill Leeper on a FN action and 21" McGowan barrel. Talley bases, rings and barrel band. Timney trigger. Red Decellerator recoil pad. Stock and rust bluing by me.

Scoped with a Leupold VX II 2-7X33.

Favorite load is 270 gr Barnes 3X's at around 2750 fps.

So far, the responding posts are only showing what a mediocre .308 can also do. Be it a black bear, an elk or a grouse.
I once saw the power of Ruger 375 on Wild TV. One shot, one dead brown bear. The bear was killed right on the track, completely drop and dead.

Here's mine. Ruger Alaskan in a McMillan Classic in GAP camo with a Leupold VX3 2.5-8x36. Just finalizing my load with h4350 and Barnes 250gr TTSX. I will be carrying it this fall looking for moose.

Not the best picture but here's mine - Howa 1500 in a B&C stock, Leupold VX-I 2-7 scope, glass bedded with Devcon.

And your story is about a kill you saw on tv.

Just how many of us 'New Kingers' do you think apply for/draw grizz tags every year? Or are able to make the trip to the Dark Continent?

These posters are simply sharing their rifles, loads and pics of what they've been fortunate enough to get out to hunt. Heck, if I knew tv kills were fair game, I'd have much more to add to the thread lol :dancingbanana:

Nothing wrong with adding a .416 Ruger to the collection! :)

Yup, you made the correct choice with that stock! Looks great :)

Here's my first critter with my 375 ruger!! 270gr TTSX did the job!!

I think you need to adjust your dies a little differently! :)

How do you like the Howa? I haven't tried one yet. Always interesting to see how many rifle makers jumped onto Team New King! :)

I love it. Nice trigger and ridiculously accurate. With the B&C stock it turns into a cheaper Weatherby Vanguard S2 "range certified" clone.

Stumbled across a nice stash of 300gr Norma Oryx bullets that I'll be loading up for moose this fall, after having less-than-ideal performance from factory loaded Hornady 270gr SP-RP ammo (or as I now refer to it the Hornady 270gr V-Max).

Mine is a plain jane SS LH Hawkeye. Haven't hunted anything with it yet, mainly sees use as a backup, hiking or camp gun. It shoots the factory 270 grain load very, very well.
