Ya Lever is $2550 and my local CT want $2500 all plus tax that's what kills the deal.

It would cost me hundreds in fuel alone to drive to Vancouver and back. Not worth it...

For what it's worth all the sks I've physically looked at at lever were in really nice all over condition, my local Cambodian tire not so nice looking. The stocks looked like they'd been dragged behind a truck, if I had to choose between Lever and CT I'd go with Lever everytime.

The golden era of SKSes is past it seems. We're getting nothing but "bottom of the barrel" these days... Damn those '12/'13 Westrifle imports were sweet. Many of which have been bubba'd by owners who didn't know what they had.

Perhaps for now. There will be little warehouses and old mine discoveries full of rifles for the next 100 years. If there is a market for them, they will be sold. It seemed like it was the end of M44s and M38s, but all of a sudden there was more, and still is.
