Diemaco C8 worth the price?

A capable weapons system will be operated well by any skilled shooter. I can attest to the reliability of the colt rifle as I do not clean or maintain in for the entirety of the competition season which may include well over 2000 rounds. That quantity is more than some will shoot through their rifle ever. Finally I have yet to meet a member including lefties to find the ambi mag release to be of any real value should you do more than stand under cover and shoot 50m from a bench

Colt bought out Diemaco. Colt Canada is the same company but the C7 series of rifles aren't the same ones you'll find on irunguns for $1000. There's a reason why the C7 is such a popular rifle in various military communities.

Like I said, just for fun. If you want to compare this civilian C7 to a KAC or something go ahead, I'll put my money on the C7.
If you don't like the price don't buy it that's all.

While we're at it we can take bets on how long before they show up on EE at stupid prices.

Give us facts and data that prove the Cc rifle is better than other cheaper offerings. Need proof not "I carry one at work" bs.

I might get around to doing just that but I really don't care too much. (Not saying that to be a prick)
It's more for my curiosity than proving anything to others. I'm not hung up about it, if you want to believe they're ####ty rifles then okay. . I'm pretty comfortable on my side with military experience as well as military and industry experts.

I would like to apologize to everyone that bought a Diemaco from me at the original pricing. If I knew this drastic price change was going to happen I would have waited to sell them.

Just an FYI, I didn't mean I wouldn't be selling Colt/Diemaco. I just meant to say that I wasn't aware there was going to be a price decrease and if I was I'd have waited to sell them. Colt Canada/Diemaco is an excellent product.

I think many are missing the point, good shooters are saying the product is good and still complaints if the value is not there in your eyes well there are other options norinco to ruger to hk 750 to 3000+. I will say that most my expirience is with issue rack grade rifle and issue ammo and I shot better than using a very nice stag in a comp. you can't replace the experience of rounds down range by buying a 3000$ carbon barrelled rifle

My point was 2-fold 1-they advertise it as having ambidextrous controls, when all it really has is the safety. The mag release is part of the controls.

2 -it's a $2100 rifle that is supposed to be a proletariat legal version of the gun that has that part which costs an additional $100 on the market.

It's a cheap shot.

...sorry, a $1800 rifle now. I guess I should genuflect now at such corporate generosity.

And when other vendors post their mil/LE discounts it's more than obvious to me that the current NDA is a move to really avoid alienating an already more than cynical Joe RPAL

I just feel bad. Everyone works hard for thier money.

Don't. I think most folks understand the retailers we getting the $hit end of the stick on the whole deal deal as well as the consumers. Besides, you've put out some pretty sick sales the last little while, and I think everyone can appreciate your services.

If you still feel bad, feel free to surprise us with some other deals :)

That's a very powerful statement Ryan and speaks a great deal to your integrity.

Yeah, I was a bit moved by your statement too, but I didn't want to admit it, haha! Take my money now! All kidding aside, I've never regretted spending my money at your place, and have always been satisfied with my purchases. I don't think any of your customers would place the blame on you under the circumstances.

You really don't need to appologize for something that you were clearly not aware of in the 1st place Ryan. You're a stand up lad and your track record as a dealer here proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt.
