I never intended to hoard but it seems, as I review the ammo locker, that I do have a small hoard. 1500 Remington RN, 3000 Stingers, 600 Mini Mags and about 2800 .22 WMR of various manufacture - Remington, Hornady, Winchester and CCI. I guess I'm a bad man...
10.000 mini mags, 7000 yellowjackets, a few hundred vipers, 5000 American eagle HP, 3-4 cartons of Fed. bulk, maybe 4 555s, 5 333s, 1500 win super x, 3 cartons of RWS match, 1 carton of target, and 300 pistol, 6000 Lapula biathalon, a few cartons of other targets and a few hundred of many other types. Just received a case co SK standard +. Standard + is my go to for paper, Mini-mags for gophers. Most others sit or get used when we take new shooters to the range.

I've only got a bit less than 2000. Thought about getting some more this week but my wallet was empty.

If anyone is looking for Remington Subsonic, try Wolverine, I just received 3,000 rounds from them yesterday. I also picked up 20 boxes of Federal Auto Match from Bass Pro in calgary a few weeks ago, although I only kept 10 boxes, the rest went to a friend.

I don't see it as a problem of 'no .22 ammo', I see it as a problem of 'my MK3 pistol only really likes 1070 fps 40g lead round nose'. If I wanted to buy subs or HV HPs, the options are limitless around me. My LGS has cases of CCI Velocitors and my local CTs have lots of other rimfire, but all subs or HV stuff..
Not really sure why anyone would call someone who has 5k rounds around a horder and bad person.... heck, casual rimfire shooters do that in a few weeks if they have enough time after work... I currently have 1500 blazers and am getting nervous as my locals don't seem to have any blazer or CCI SV on the horizon.
You rifle shooters don't know how lucky you are!
